Usage Instructions:
For carpets: Make sure pets and children are clear of the area. Sprinkle a thin layer before vacuuming, leave it down for a minimum of thirty minutes, and as long as overnight. Vacuum as usual. For stubborn odors the process can be repeated one or two more times. For small rugs that cannot be vacuumed use the same process but shake them out outside afterwards.
For Furniture: The process is the same as with carpets, make sure pets and children are clear of the area, and sprinkle a thin layer on the surface of the furniture, let it sit for at least 30 minutes and then vacuum thoroughly.
For Spills/Pet stains: Spray and clean up as usual with desired enzyme cleaner or a vinegar solution, absorb as much moisture as possible with a clean towel. Follow with a layer of carpet powder while the spot is still damp. Leave the powder down overnight, or until the spot is completely dry (a fan to circulate air can help) and then vacuum up the powder.
For hard surfaces: Can be used as a soft-scrub for countertops, stoves, and sinks. Sprinkle a thin layer and use a sponge or cloth to buff off stubborn and sticky spots. Use caution with porus or plastic surfaces as they may hold on to the smell from the essential oils.
Our carpet powder can be used as a general deodorizer in garbage bins, shoes, hampers, gym bags, or anywhere else that has a little extra stink. Just sprinkle it in, let it sit for at least 30 minutes, and then dump it out.
